Project: Aarhus, Skejby

In Skejby, we are building the first geothermal facility in Aarhus

Site preparations in Skejby began in September 2023, and drilling was carried out in the early months of 2024. Construction of the heating plant will be completed in 2025.

The facility is expected to deliver the first heat to the citizens of Aarhus in the fall of 2025. By 2027, we expect to drill two additional wells to increase the capacity.

Tophole drilling.

Drilling of two test wells.

June 2024

Analysing test results, adjustments and the first geothermal plant is built.

Autumn 2025

First heat to be delivered from the facility.

Drilling of two additional wells is expected to begin.
